Charlie’s Angels is considered a lock to get a spot on the network’s
schedule next season. Here’s a look at Minka Kelly, Annie Ilonzeh and
Rachael Taylor. They are following in the footsteps of actresses who
made the crime fighting roles iconic in the original series, which aired
from 1976-1981. The new show is to be set in the present day and the
girls will be reformed criminals who are brought together by Charlie to
redeem themselves,says Entertainment Weekly. Drew Barrymore will be
executive producer for the show. Cahrlie will be the voice of Robert
Wagner (the original Charlie was the late John Forsythe) and the show
plans on keeping Charlie out of sight – just like in the original.
‘Battle Los Angeles star Ramon Rodriguez is set to fill the role of
Bosley.
