Beyonce Biography

Beyonce was born on September 4th, 1981, Houston, Texas. “She starts singing while being pretty young. Each Saturday she sings in the local church's choir. At 8 the young beauty meets LaTavia Robertson, while passing an audition for a music group. Her manager and father later initiates the relation between them both and LeToya Luckett. In 1992, Beyonce's cousin Kelly Rowland joins the group.„The already four beauties call themselves Destiny's Child. In 1997 their first official single comes up, hitting the charts. "No, No, No" acquires a multi-platinum status, acting as a brilliant springboard for their further career. The new R&B group gains a great deal of critical acclaim. In 1999 their winning first album: The Writing's on the Wall appears on the market. Beyonce plays a major role inside. They release three top ten hits for one year only "Jumpin, Jumpin," "Say My Name" and "Bills, Bills, Bills". Thus, Destiny's Child turns into one of the best-selling women formations worldwide - over 9 million copies sold. Their hit "Independent Women Part 1," from Charlie's Angels soundtrack, reaches a brilliant success. After winning five Grammy nominations in 2001, LeToya and LaTavia leave the group. Their place is taken by Michelle Williams, the backup vocal Farrah Franklin. Destiny's Child take two Grammys - for Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group, both for "Say My Name". Some time later, the trio Destiny's Child (after Farrah Franklin left them) produces their third album Survivor, in the fall of 2001. The album contains the hit "Bootylicious".Survivor's success brings them another Grammy in Fabruary 2002. After all the grandeur that group singing brings them, the three beauties decide to embark on their solo careers, before investing their efforts and time in another album of Destiny's Child. Nobody gets surprise-stricken by the magnificent success of Beyonce. The combination between master's performance and sex appeal prove to be pretty useful in her growth as a solo singer.“She partners Jay-Z in creating the hit "Bonnie and Clyde" that hits a great success in 2003. Her first debut on the big screen is in the movie Austin Powers in Goldmember where she co-works Mike Myers. In 2004 Beyonce takes by storm five awards, thus turning into the greatest winner for the night.
