As the daughter of country-music superstar Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus started her performing career since 2003. She appeared in Tim Burton's fantastical 2003 adventure "Big Fish".
She actually rose to fame after starring as the title character in the Disney Channel series "Hannah Montana". And the later released soundtrack CD featuring Cyrus debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200. It is the first soundtrack that carried off the first place in Billboard.
In 2008, Cyrus was listed in Time magazine's "100 Most Influential People in The World".
She also earned twice nominations of Golden Globe.
