Britney Jean Spears was born in rural Louisiana (Kentwood) to Jamie Spears and Lynne Spears. Britney Spears loved gymnastics, dancing and was very passionate about singing.She appeared for The All New Mickey Mouse Club's auditions but she was rejected due to her age, as she was just 8. She got her first break from Jive Records, with them she recorded “Baby one more time”, which was an instant hit and made her a pop diva in a very short while.
When she was just 19, Britney spears came to the ranks of pop stars like Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake, and from then on she never looked back. Britney and controversies always went hand in hand. Her video in which she appeared with a giant snake, herself being scantily clad, caused a huge upset in the community of animal supporters. She also came in news when she kissed Madonna in MTV Video Music Awards.
