Britney Jean Spears came into the world on December 2nd, 1981, in
Kentwood, Louisiana. She starts her music career in the local church.
Despite her talent,
she is not admitted to take part in the children's show The New Mickey
Mouse Club on account of her fragile age - just 8. This misfortune Britney does not prevent Britney from being noticed for a
long period of time. Shortly, her talent captures the attention of a
show producer,
who immediately connects her with an agent in New York City.
Consequently, the youngster spends the following 3 seasons in New York,
taking lessons dancing
at Off Broadway Dance Center and actorship at Professional Performing
Arts School. Britney's flight to stardom is also fostered by her
participations in various
ads at that time.
Being 11, Britney manifests her acting and dancing talent in the Mickey
Mouse Club show, where she is this time around admitted to take part in
as "Mouseketeer".
She spends two years in Orlando with her family, while the show keeps
going. Britney also finds time for her native city where she is enrolled
in high school.
Her dreams are tinted in "singing" colours, which takes her to New York
again.....this time as a singer.
Her talent gets in the focus of Jive Record, after demo records of hers
succesfully pass an audition. She begins working with
Eric Foster Whita, a producer who has worked with Boyzone and Whitney
Houston. Resulting from their cooperation, Britney's first album - Baby
One More Time is released on
January 12th, 1999. This album takes the charts by storm due to super
hits like "Crazy", "Sometimes" and "[Hit Me] Baby, One More Time". The
hit is sold in
over 20 million copies.
In 2000, Britney takes the wide public by surprise again, proving that
she has nothing to do the one-hit wonder syndrom. The new album is
called
"Oops!...I Did It Again" and hit as agrand a success as its predecessor.
Britney is just tireless. Her third album comes into being one year
later, incorporating
winning singles such as: "Overprotected","I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A
Woman" e "Slave 4 U". Rumours spread around
with respect to Madonna's statement that she is a fan of Britney, which
can be very
clearly seen in the video clip. In The Zone is officially released in
2003.
Her wedding with Jason Allen Alexander, her childhood friend, lasts 55
hours, which shocks her fans.
