Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries
ruined our Halloween last year with the news that the reality star had
pulled the plug on their 72-day marriage. Now, they've almost spent
twice as many days feuding about the terms of their split. (It's been
139 days, if you really want to know.)
To be fair, TMZ reports both parties have agreed to most facets of the settlement except there's a big one in the way. Apparently both parties would like to walk away with an annulment, but each is insisting that the other confess to fraud. See, you can't just get an annulment because you figure out you rushed into marrying a cute NBA star. There has to be an element of fraud or deceit or adultery, etc., etc., etc.
Kardashian thinks Humphries should be the one to own up to fraud, since she says he promised to live in L.A. with her then tried to force her to move to the middle of Minnesota. On the other hand, the Nets player says she used him as a giant publicity stunt and never had any intention of making the marriage work. Personally, we think he has a bit of a better argument.
Now where does that stalemate leave these two? Well, sources tell TMZ that Kardashian is ready to dig her Louboutins in and spend whatever it takes to get her way. And, she's reportedly not budging on the $7 million Humphries says he's owed. According to the pre-nup, she doesn't owe him a dime and is sticking to that, whether he likes it or not.
