The Modern Family star, who just turned 40, raked in $US19 million ($A18.49 million) over the past year according to the financial magazine but only $US7 million of that came from her hit show. The other $US12 million is from her lucrative endorsement deals which include Diet Pepsi, Cover Girl and a clothing line at Kmart.
Vergara celebrated her newfound wealth (and her 40th birthday) this month by flying 108 of her closest friends and family—including Modern Family costars and creator Steve Levitan—to Playa del Carmen, Mexico for a weeklong celebration at the ultralux Rosewood Mayakoba resort, racking up a bill that could top $2 million.
Reality television star Kim Kardashian came in second place on the list with $US18 million which was helped by her guest appearance on Drop Dead Diva and her huge ratings winner wedding to Kris Humphries. She also has a heap of endorsement deals, fragrance lines and clothing boutiques.
Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria came in third place with $US13 million and Bethenny Frankel was in fourth position with $US12 million.
Another Kardashian rounded out the top five for earnings from May 2011 to May 2012 which was Kim's younger sister Khloe who brought in $US11 million and tied with 30 Rock creator Tina Fey.
