A rep for Zooey confirmed the split to Us Weekly today, with an insider saying the split was both “mutual and amicable.” The source also added that the split didn’t involve a “third party.”
Zooey and Ben were married in 2009 in a small, private ceremony outside of Seattle, Washington. Zooey’s career has reached a new level over the last six months, covering songs for the Disney project, “Winnie the Pooh” and of course her new break-out hit on FOX. Ben’s band, Death Cab for Cutie , has been in the recording studio working on their seventh studio album.
