Brittany Anne Murphy (November 10, 1977- December 20, 2009) was an
American actress and singer. She was best known for her roles in "8
Mile" and "Clueless." She died December 20, 2009 from cardiac arrest
after her mother found her unconscious in the shower. She was married to
director Simon Monjack.

Monjack leaving a post-Oscars party. Screenwriter Simon Monjack has been
found dead at the home he shared with the late actress. His death comes
just five months after "Clueless" star Brittany, 32, died at the
property.
