French President Nicolas Sarkozy, his wife Carla Bruni Sarkozy and his
son, Louis Sarkozy, enjoy their first day in New York before his speech
to the United Nations General Assembly on Monday. They had lunch at one
of their favourite restaurants in Manhattan, Amaranth, an Italian
restaurant. After lunch, they headed back to their hotel. While a
kitten-heeled Carla went shopping at the pharmacy across from their the
hotel, Nicolas Sarkozy and his son Louis went to a nearby Best Buy
store. Later in the afternoon, Louis, accompanied by a secret service
agent, went to Central Park to play with a strange, futuristic toy.
Almost certainly tired following their long trip, the family stayed at
the hotel for dinner.
