The Dirty Picture is not sleazy: Vidya Balan

First look of Ekta Kapoor’s ‘The Dirty Picture’ is out and since Vidya Balan is portraying Silk Smitha’s character in the film, it has seemed a little sleazy and vulgar to many. While many are against Vidya for portraying such a bold character, the actress is adamant that the film is nothing close to being vulgar or sleazy.
It’s not a soft porn film. Vidya too was initially quite skeptical of doing the film but later director Tanuj Garg explained it to her that it’s not a soft porn film.
Bollywood, however has been pouring in praises for Vidya and the film on Twitter.
