Ellen Degeneres

Ellen Lee DeGeneres is best known as the hostess of the award winning primetime talk show The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She has won an Emmy Award twelve times and is also an actress and stand- up comedienne.

Ellen DeGeneres has acted in movies like Mr Wrong, EDtv and The Love Letter and voiced the character of Dory inFinding Nemo. In television she starred in Ellen and The Ellen Show. She started her career as a stand-up comedienne and was once named by Showtime as Funniest Person in America. Ellen DeGeneres has also successfully hosted the Emmy Awards and the 79 th Academy Awards.
