Nick Cannon is a San Diego born television personality and rapper. His stand up comedy career began on his father’s cable program at the tender age of eleven. Nick then moved to Hollywood at fourteen and by the age of twenty he already had his own television series, “The Nick Cannon Show” for which he won the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award.
Nick Cannon released a self titled rap album which featured the hit single “Gigolo” in 2003. He has appeared in numerous movies and television series including “Roll Bounce”, “Men in Black II” and most recently in “The Killing Room”. He is also a voice artist whose talents have been made use of in “Monster House” and “The Adventures of Brer Rabbit”. In 2006/7 he won awards at the Cannes Film Festival and Hollywood Film Festival for “Bobby”.
