Travis Barker-versatile drummer

Travis Barker is an extremely versatile drummer who can play several musical genres like punk rock, hip hop, alternative rock, pop, ska and country music. He currently holds the position of the drummer in ‘Blink-182’, a pop punk band.
 Travis Barker met the band while on this tour with ‘The Aquabats’ in 1996. At the last moment, the drummer of Blink-182 was removed and Travis Barker was asked to replace him. How he managed to learn the entire set of 20 songs for ‘Blink-182’, perform them without fault, and then go on to play a set with ‘The Aquabats’ the same night, is a wonder.
 1999 saw the release of the best ever album of ‘Blink-182’ – ‘Enema of the State’ which was subsequently followed by ‘Take off Your Pants and Jacket’ and ‘Blink-182’. The music videos and lyrics of these albums became an overnight sensation. After a long stint of 7 years with the band, Travis Barker announced a parting of ways. However, they got back together this year after the Grammy Awards.
